Hiking for
promoting International Friendship
All attendants of 52 people including some staff members from KIFA enjoyed walking from Chihayaguchi Station on Nankai Railway all the way up to Jizoji temple and Enmeiji temple. Guided by the sightseeing volunteers we enjoyed it very much.At Enmeiji temple we got into full swing in playing Bingo game.
It has been already two years since I came to Japan. And I’ve been going back and forth only between the factory where I work and the dormitory where I live. So I really appreciated today’s hiking.
Walking through the mountainous area with a lot of people, talking and playing games in the beautiful nature were so much fun and made me feel quite refreshed at the end of the day.
The colorful autumn leaves were deeply impressive and so were the Japanese old temples, and they made me want to visit and see many other temples in Japan together with my friends.
I also want to learn about Japanese history, and I realize I must study Japanese much harder for that. That would be great if I could take part in the meetings like this some time soon and I wish KIFA would plan this kind of events more often. They would be great opportunities to get together and know each other and I would love to join. I hope that wouldn’t to be too much trouble.
