Though it is snowing outside, but what is this heat in here! There are about 70 people in the room and you can spot some a little nervous faces among them. They are going to give speaches in the 1st part . They are all studying at the Japanese Salon. Those 7 people are from 5 countries, United States, China, Vietnam, Philippines and Korea. Each of them have been in Japan for different length of time from 1 year to 22 years. They talked about their home country, parents, how they grew up, why they have come to Japan, the fun experiences and the problems in living in Japan, their favorite sports players and Japanese old sayings... so many topics to talk about! When all the speaches are over their smiles have come back to them.

The 2nd part is a party with the audience and the Japanese Salon students. The Vietnamese songs were performed and the emcee couldn't stop herself singing "I Love You" by Ozakiimage010.jpg Yutaka, a famous Japanese singer, and the all the people there were smiling at this happening. I realized Japanese salon is not only a place to study Japanese, but also a place to build reliable friendship between the staff and the students and today's "open day" was a heart-warming experience.
